Sourdough Pancakes

1x | 2x | 3x | 4x
  • 270g plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 230g sourdough starter
  • 360ml milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • lemon, sugar, yogurt, berries, etc., to top
  1. Mix 270g plain flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tbsp granulated sugar and 1 tsp salt in a bowl
  2. Add 230g sourdough starter, 360ml milk, 1 egg beaten and 2 tbsp vegetable oil and mix until combined
  3. Heat butter in a frying pan until very hot
  4. Pour a ladle of pancake batter into the hot pan and cook until the pancake starts bubbling on top
  5. Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1 minute
  6. 1 minute
  7. Serve warm with lemon, sugar, yogurt, berries, etc., to top
